If you are serving cocktail drinks at your reception, you may just want to get a little creative with some of these cocktail recipes.  I have found some cocktail drinks that have great names, sound delicious, and will be oh-so-fitting for a wedding.  Check out some of these tasty delicious party cocktail recipes, and who knows?  You may just be inspired to taste test them at home as well.

Martini Cocktail Drinks and Cocktail Recipes

The Something Blue
2 oz Hypnotiq
2 oz White Wine
1 oz Ginger Ale

Pour all the ingredients into  champagne flute  and serve!  What an quick an easy recipe — and, it’s blue!

Wedding Cake
3/4 oz Gin
3/4 oz Amaretto
1/4 oz Orange Juice
1/4 oz Pineapple Juice
1/4 oz Cream

Pour ingredients into a blender with ice and blend well.  Pour into hurricane glass and serve.

Southern Bride (Martini Cocktail — and one of my favorite cocktail recipes)
2 1/2 oz Gin
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
Dash of Grenadine

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.  Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and serve.

Blushing Bride
1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz Grenadine
4 oz Champagne

Pour peach schnapps and grenadine into a champagne flute.  Top with champagne and serve.

Sealed With a Kiss
2 oz Chocolate Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Vodka
Hershey’s Kiss

Place hershey’s kiss in the bottom of a chilled cocktail glass.  Pour the chocolate liqueur and vodka into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.  Pour over hershey’s kiss in the chilled glass.

Hot Romance
1 1/2 oz Rum
2 oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Orange Juice

Pour all ingredients into a glass — up or over ice.  Stir and serve.

Love Potion
1 oz Vodka (Absolut Vodka recommended)
1 oz Amaretto Almond Liqueur
1 oz Peach Schapps
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Cranberry Juice

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.  Serve on the rocks.

Lovely Wife (ooh, ladies you will LOVE this drink…)
3/4 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Chambord (Raspberry Liqueuer)
3/4 oz Godiva Liqueur (Chocolate Liqueur)

Shake all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker that is 1/2 filled with ice.  Strain into cocktail glass and serve.
